What size are your samples?
Our samples are 8" wide x 11" high. They won't show the full repeat, but they'll give you a great feel for the material, color, and scale of your chosen pattern. We also include a pattern details sheet with each sample — showing the full specs and how the pattern will look across a larger wall.
How do I choose which material to use?
The material you choose depends mainly on two things: how permanent you want this to be, and whether you're planning to install it yourself. Our Peel & Stick is perfect for renters, DIYers, or anyone who likes to shake things up every few years. Canvas is the long haul option — durable, rich-textured, and built to last. Eco Paper is a lightweight, breathable, PVC-free choice that's great for earth-conscious decorators. Still not sure? Order a sample and feel the difference.
How do I customize a Wallflower Goods pattern?
Want to adjust the color or scale of one of our patterns? All you have to do is ask. Reach out to us here.
How long does it take for an order to ship?
Since every order is printed on demand just for you, please allow 7–10 business days for your wallpaper to ship. Good things take time and we think it's worth the wait. If you need your order more quickly, just reach out and we'll do our best to make it happen.
Getting Started
How do I measure my wall?
Grab a steel tape measure and find the maximum width and height of your wall, measuring in at least three places to account for any uneven surfaces. Record the widest and tallest points. And don't subtract for windows, doors, or other obstacles. Include them in your measurements to make sure you order enough.
Will your wallpaper work on my walls?
The ideal wall surface for wallpaper is a smooth wall, this is especially true for our Peel & Stick material. If your walls have a slight texture, we'd recommend going with Canvas or Eco Paper instead. Heavily textured walls like popcorn, knockdown, or orange peel can present adhesion issues and are more of a gamble. When in doubt, order a sample and test it on your wall first. After all, it's your world — we're just here to help you wallpaper it.
What kind of prep. work is involved with a wallpaper project?
Start your wallpaper project with a clean slate. Make sure any holes are patched, walls are clean and painted — eggshell or satin finish works best — and let that paint cure for at least 2 weeks before hanging. A little prep goes a long way toward a result you'll love.
Should I order all the wallpaper I need for a project in one order?
Yes — and here's why! While we do our best to maintain consistent colors, subtle differences can occur from batch to batch. We can't guarantee a precise color match unless everything is printed at the same time. That's why we always recommend measuring carefully and ordering everything you need in one go. Not sure how much to order? Our wallpaper calculator takes the guesswork out of it and adds bleed for you. Still not sure? Just reach out, we're happy to help
Installation & Afterwards
Should I hire a professional for installation?
Whether you hire a pro really depends on your comfort level and willingness to dive in. All of our wallpaper comes trimmed to 25 inches wide with a one inch overlap. The width makes it easier for a first-timer to handle, and the overlap helps you line up your pattern with ease.
That said, our Peel & Stick is the most beginner-friendly option. No paste needed, and the adhesive is wonderfully forgiving — stick it down, peel it back, and try again as many times as you need.
Our Canvas and Eco Paper materials require a bit more finesse, but if you're up for it, our How-To guide will walk you through every step.
How do the panels overlap and what is double cutting?
Our panels are printed with a one inch overlap built right in. Double cutting is a technique where two overlapping panels are cut through simultaneously, creating a nearly invisible seam where the panels meet. It takes a steady hand and a straight edge ruler, but results in a beautifully seamless finish. If you're attempting a double cut, we cover it step by step in our How-To guide.
Can I clean my wallpaper?
You sure can! We recommend skipping harsh cleansers and scouring pads and going with warm water and a soft cloth instead. Easy does it!
